Two statewide constitutional officers were in San Diego Wednesday night to advocate for the activation and mobilization of Asian American and Pacific Islander voters. California Treasurer John Chiang and Controller Betty Yee attended a fundraiser hosted by the San Diego Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Democratic Club. The club raised more than $10,000 for a new AAPI voter registration and outreach program in San Diego County.
